Cos Santullo Joins The INSIGHT Group

Cos Santullo Former Senior VP of Worldwide Sales and Services for BMC Software joins The INSIGHT Group as Managing Partner
Cos brings to The INSIGHT Group 30+ years of technology industry experience. He has a proven ’’hands-on operational leadership style.’’ He has provided this leadership in both Fortune 500 companies and smaller technology startups; both public and private companies. Most recently, as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Business Partners and Services at BMC Software, he completely transformed a legacy product company into a profitable, growing, solutions selling and delivery organization.
At INSIGHT, Cos will provide specific leadership to the software and technology industry segments and will leverage his marketing, sales and services background across multiple large and small size firms in a number of industries. Practice areas of focus include the customer engagement and opportunity management / deal making processes. He will also have a major role in business development and establishing and growing selected business partnerships.

Other major job responsibilities have included:
- Consulted for Enterasys Networks, a $600M Network solutions company helping them re-engineer their sales, marketing and professional services business
- Consulted with venture firms to help them re-focus, close, or sell distressed companies as interim CEO and Executive Chairman
- Senior Vice President of Marketing, EMC Corp. where he launched EMC's first major professional marketing campaign and customer initiatives, and began building their services and solutions business
- CEO and President of the Internet content delivery firm, Mirror-Image taking a ¡§start-up¡¨ from engineering to IPO
- IBM where he held executive positions in
Asia Pacific as the General Manager of a large Industry group and as the
World Wide Services Executive in charge of sales transformation to
solutions selling. He was also GM of the then $8 billion Personal
Computer business in North America leading 5000 employees and IBM’s PC
Business Partners. During this period Cos:
- Rebuilt business strategies
- Redirected and reprioritized the organizational focus of senior management teams
- Overhauled sales and services organizations to address evolving business needs with a specific focus on improved performance and value to users
- Developed unique business processes to support the growth and evolution of start-up companies

He received his BS in Engineering at Princeton University.
