The Insight Group, DuPont, and the Arizona State University W.P. School of Business recently completed a research study designed to gain a better understanding of the impact of cultural change on a product-focused company’s ability to integrate services/solutions into its business model.
Thirteen companies participated in this study, which identified culture as the top challenge in making this transformation. The study also identified the key challenges and critical success factors that must be addressed in order to successfully move to a more services/solutions business model.
